The Capt. Peacock family recently came together to review their 12 years of success, to look to the future, and to give back to the community. The event began at Caesar Business Hotel in Manaus, Brazil on March 14. Twenty members of the Capt. Peacock Yachts & Expedition team gathered to celebrate the successful 2016 fishing season and to award those who helped make it such a success.

The week of February 25 through March 04, 2016 was our last until September and in true Capt. Peacock style we ended it on a high note with some pretty big fish caught and lots of fun being had by all on board. And those ranged in age from 14 to their mid 70’s. We had husbands and wives, fathers and sons, boyfriends and girlfriends, fathers and daughters, and groups of friends. Some were from Texas, some from elsewhere in the States, and a few were from Canada. (more…)

So much in fact that I actually contacted our guests ahead of their trip to tell them the fishing might not be up to my standards and offered to re-book them for a future date. Despite my warnings, all agreed to come saying that they had faith my guides would do their best. (more…)
It’s back to school time in Brazil’s Amazon with students taking to the class at the end of February.
And the children of Capt. Peacock Yachts & Expeditions’ staff will be returning fully prepared. (more…)
