While our owner Leonardo Leao was hobnobbing with all the beautiful people at the Dallas Safari Club Convention last week, I was entertaining 24 guests aboard our 125 foot luxury yacht. My guests drank like fish, gorged on chef prepared meals, enjoyed some beautiful weather, and landed some monster peacock bass. They also picnicked on private beaches, had daily massages, and visited some remote villages.

I know all of you are probably prepping for Christmas and don’t have much time to read a fishing report from the good captain but this week’s haul was just too good not to share.
This week we had an eclectic group onboard to be sure.
We had four Russians, three doctors, four couples (one of which was celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary by fishing with us), two friends four fathers and sons…all in all just a fantastic group of 21 guests aboard my 125-foot yacht. (more…)
Well, the weather outside might be frightful where you live but down here in Amazonia it’s great.
It’s warm, the sun is shinning, the beer is ice cold, and the fishing is the best it’s been this season.
This week we had 20 guests (Chairman, CEO, executives and families and friends) from Duncan Aviation Corp.
Together they caught a combined 1,758 peacock bass and probably just as many piranha, catfish, barracuda, and dogfish. Not only did this fine group of anglers land close to 2,000 peacocks but 67 of those were over 20 pounds.
And one of those was 24 pounds! (more…)
