Capt. Peacock Raises $13,000 for Conservation at SCI Convention

Capt. Peacock Yachts & Expeditions’ donation of a 9-day trip of a Peacock Bass fishing in Brazil’s Amazon for two people aboard their luxury yacht Rio Negro Queen sold for $13,000 at Safari Club International’s annual convention’s Live Auction in Las Vegas on Friday February 5, 2016. The trip was purchased by Patrick Cannon and Susan Johnson and the money will be utilized by SCI for Outdoor Conservation. Capt. Capt. Peacock Yachts & Expeditions Joins The US Chamber of Commerce

Capt. Peacock Yachts & Expeditions announced earlier this week that it has joined the US Chamber of Commerce.

Started by President William Taft in April 1912, the United States Chamber of Commerce (USCC) is the world’s largest business organization representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses. Members range from mom-and-pop shops and local chambers to leading industry associations and large corporations.

Capt. Peacock Yachts & Expeditions owner Leonardo Leao explained his company’s joining saying, “Like the US Chamber of Commerce, Capt. Peacock believes in job creation and opportunities and know that America a great place for both. We are proud to be a Texas entity and proud to now belong to this great national organization.”
