Yes, Chip. That’s very nice….No…I really…I really mean it. The way you wrapped that…what is that? A lime? Yeah. The way you wrapped that lime around the glass is just awesome…Oh a caipirinha. Good. Well it’s the prettiest caipirinha I’ve ever seen. Leave it and I’ll drink it after I write up this week’s fishing report. Ok. Thanks. Sorry.
Chip spent all day trying to craft a caipirinha worthy of being photographed for our new advertising pamphlet and I couldn’t get rid of him. But now that I have, let’s look at last week’s numbers.
Last week saw fewer anglers and because of that, the numbers are slightly less than the week before. We also had a honeymooning couple onboard and I don’t think they fished as much as the others. Regardless, our anglers landed more than five hundred peacock bass between Oct. 24 – 31 and had a hell’uva time doing so. They also landed a ton of piranha, catfish, and barracuda.
Back to peacock bass…
The biggies this week come from Gary Vandiver who landed a mean 20 pounder.
James Koller who brought in a 23-pound monster.
And Maryanne McNeely who landed a different 23-pound leviathan.
Congrats to these three on their big catches.
Of course bigger fish will be caught in the weeks to come.
I know this because I know Amazônia.
