Capt. Peacock Fishing Report For Jan. 22 – 30, 2015

Don’t tell me who won the Super Bowl.

I haven’t watched it yet.  I’ve been too busy fishing down here in Amazônia with a great group of folks from Houston.

Last week saw me, my crew, and our  125 foot luxury yacht entertaining 18 guests, all friends and family of Trevor Penny.  Trevor and his wife Emma booked the private charter for themselves, five other couples and a few friends  back at the DSC Convention in 2014.

Trevor’s group landed over 1,100 peacock bass and probably the same number of dogfish, piranha, and catfish.  Of the former, almost 40 of them were over 10 pounds.  Trevor landed a 21 pound behemoth, Emma pulled in a 16 pound bad boy, and Bob Goodwin pulled in a 20 pound leviathan.

Again all had a fantastic time and one I’m sure will bring them back down here soon.

I know this because I know Amazônia.

I’m Capt Peacock.
